Hassie Hollingsworth Obituary

Mrs. Hassie Hollingsworth, age 102 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Carbon Hill. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:30-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New River Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30-2:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William Thomas and Lucy Frances McCaleb, husband: Floyd Hollingsworth, four brothers: Charlie, Vaughn, John, and Warren McCaleb, four sisters: Carrie Scrivner, Lois Baumgartner, Neeland Hollingsworth, and Ruth Ehl.

Survivors include her son: Tommy Hollingsworth (Karen) of Fayette, two daughters: Mary Joyce Smith of Birmingham, and Gloria Jean Evans of Northport, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
