Euline Gilpin

Mrs. Euline Gilpin, age 76 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mayfield Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband; James Edward Gilpin of Fayette, son; Eddy Gilpin (Jeanny) of Salem, VA, daughter; Rebecca Driver (Fred) of Fayette, brother; Rayford Taylor of Talladega, sister; Marcella Richards (Lyn D) of Fayette, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Charlie Grady and Mary Alice Taylor, and a son; Randy Gilpin.

Honorary pallbearers are; great grandchildren, Dr. Christian and Staff, Ellen's Flower Shop, and her church family at Mayfield Church of Christ.

Active pallbearers will be; Kyle Gilpin, Nick Gilpin, Cory Driver, Colby Driver, Fred Driver, and Joe Smith.

Mrs. Gilpin was born in Walker County, she was a daycare provider for many children, and was a dedicated worker for Lanier for many years before she became disabled. She was a member of Mayfield Church of Christ, a devout christian, loving wife of 58 years, loving mother and grandmother.
