Edwin D Turner

Mr. Edwin D."Punk" Turner, age 81 of Fayette, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Fayette Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Enoch Estes and Levi Sides will officiate. 

Survivors include two sons: Mike Turner (Sherry), Tim Turner (Lisa), one daughter: Deana Turner Northam (Rod), two sisters: Gloria McAdams, Brenda Taylor (Joe), seven grandchildren: Anthony Turner (Kayla), Olivia Wright (Jon), Jennie Northam, Rhett Northam, Ashley Eason (Michael), Ben Vines (Mary Beth), Cora Linke (Jordan), and three great-grandchildren: Tucker Eason, Oliver Linke, and Avalyn Vines, brothers-in-law: W.C. Henderson, Doc Henderson, Harold Henderson, sisters-in-law: Ann Hubbert, Hazel Harbin, Essie Price, Gwen Kelley, Lurene Henderson, Karen Hollingsworth (Tommy), and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Lenora Henderson Turner, parents: Bruce and Verler Palmer Turner, brother: Jack Turner, brothers-in-law: Hank Henderson, John Price, Alfred Harbin, Jim Kelley, Stanley McAdams, and sisters-in-law: Andrea Henderson, and Mary Ellen Turner.

Honorary pallbearers are Members of Davis Chapel Church of Christ.

Active pallbearers will be: William Oswalt, Jim Stoker, Jay Lawrence, Ronnie Lawrence, Chris Wallace, Eddie Smith, Fred Yerby, and Greg Howton.
