Dorothy Smith Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Smith, age 88 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral arrangements will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11-A.M. from Fayette Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Bro. Bill Smith of Fayette, daughters: Diane Ryan (Ivan) of Marion, IL, Karen Powell (John) of Caledonia, MS, Kanda Taylor (Kevin) of Reform, brother: Alex T. Couch of Brentwood, TX, sisters: Ola Nail of Westpoint, MS, Jean Moore of Fayette, and Martha Mims, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Jenkins, Daniel Powell, Samuel Powell, Brandon Dwyer, and Mitchell Corder.
