Bobbie Sanders Obituary

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Gray Sanders, age 86 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. Bro. Brent Smalley will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sanders entered heaven’s gates after many years of serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved God, her family, church and friends, and always loved to encourage others sharing the Word of God. She loved to sing and witness of all Gods blessings in song. Her faith, wisdom and knowledge of God’s Word inspired her to be an effective intercessory prayer warrior as she was fervent in prayer daily. We rejoice in her home-going and know she heard God say, “Well done my child, thou good and faithful servant. Enter in into the house of the Lord.” She has now seen the face of God and is singing with the angels. Mother is teaching Angels how to sing. She now resides in her beautiful mansion that God has prepared.
Although our hearts are overwhelmed, she told us many times that “it will be alright... God is in control.” Her favorite verse was Romans 8:28, “For I know that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and to those who are called according to His purpose.”
She was preceded in death by her mother: Willie Mae Gammon Gray, father: John Newton Gray, and brother: John Derl Gray.
Survivors include her husband: Nolen Dean Sanders of Fayette, three daughters: Becky Pollard (Jeff) of Montgomery, AL, Julie Dianne Brown (Randall) of Millbrook, AL, Anita Sue Smalley (Brent) of Fayette, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Jeff Pollard, Jeffrey Allen Brown, Adam Landon Smalley, Nathaniel Austin Brown, Randall Gene Brown, Kevin Lee Ives, and Scott Spry.
    Honorary pallbearer was: Jonas Chapman.
Special thanks to caregivers: Paula Lollar, Reni Stone, and Camille Howell, and Southern Care Hospice.
