Betty Collins Obituary

Mrs. Betty Collins, age 69 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1-P.M. from Pleasant Hill Community Church in Berry. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church Saturday from 12:30-1 P.M. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband: Don Collins of Fayette, sons: Johnny Kimbrell (Becky) of Fayette and Kevin Kimbrell (Nicky) of Bessemer, daughters: Melonie Fowler (Donny) of Fayette and Tracy Marlowe of Vernon, step-daughters: Joni Osbourne, Sonya Wade, and Carla Sellers, brothers: Jeff Parker, Jessie Perkins, and Gary Perkins, sister: Becky Watkins, twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Monroe and Earlene Hardesty Parker, and a brother: Billy Joe Perkins.
