Betty Barnes Obituary

Mrs. Betty Barnes, age 89, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Northport. Mrs. Barnes was the daughter of the late Kilby and Esther White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Barnes, and sisters, Inez Unger and Catherine Jones.

Survivors include her daughters: Deborah Harwell (Bob), Georgia Moore (Mike), five grandchildren: Blaine Hathcock (Ali), Andrea Lyons (James), Hayley Welsh (Jeff), Bo Harwell (Kristen), and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12-noon from Berry United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 11-12 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Berry United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
