Ellen Elaine Enis

Mrs. Ellen Enis, age 71 of Bankston, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Rick Cargile will officiate.

Ellen was first a disciple of Jesus Christ and Sunday School teacher at Philadelphia Baptist Church. 

She worked for 35 years as a paraprofessional with the Fayette County School System, caring and loving for students with Multiple Disabilities and Challenges.  She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Audra Taylor Trimm, sister: Nancy Fuller, and brother: John Harold Trimm.

Survivors include her husband: Dwight Enis, three daughters: Amanda Moore (Gregg), Jennifer Enis and Camille Howell (Adam), two brothers: Dwight Trimm (Judy), and Duane Trimm (Melissa), brother-in-law: Don Fuller, and sister-in-law: Sara Jo Trimm. 

Pallbearers will be: Dwight Trimm, Doug Trimm, Thomas Trimm, Danny Moore, Jason Gray, and Cody Vice.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Steven Ray Vice,  Andrew Trimm, Nathanael Trimm, and Rusty Fuller.
