Survivors include his wife: Mary D. Kimbrell of Fayette, daughters: Sharon Bernice Lanier of Troy, Marilyn Fowler of Bankston, Geneva Ann Chappell of Parrish, Peggy Sue Hubbard of Woodstock, sons: Thomas Martin Kimbrell of Sutherlin, OR, Donald Ray Kimbrell of Hueytown, Michael Raymon Kimbrell of Hueytown, Billy Gene Kimbrell of Hueytown, one sister: Eva Jewel Channell of Northport, fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Clara Nell Kimbrell. Rev. Kimbrell passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Hospice of West Alabama. He pastored for over 50 years. He pastored at Sparks Gap for 5 years and at Union Grove Baptist for 10 years. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 2-P.M. from Bevan Chapel. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Charles Seagrest and Bro. Randall Trimm will officiate. The body will be lie in state at the church from 1-2 P.M. for viewing. Honorary pallbearers will be: Hospice of West Alabama, Junior and Myra Bonner, and friends and relatives. Active pallbearers will be: Adam Fowler, Cody Fowler, Ronnie Higgins, Jeffery Hubbard, Chris Hubbard, and Jimmy Ray Kimbrell.
